From my one home to my home + the places I follow. One identity home (SSoT) · many followed places · cascade-aware feed with volume control · constituency as a civic follow type. Wireframe for discussion.
The ONLY Phase-1 change to the existing place page = a Follow button. Tabs & layout below stay as built (S1–15). On your own home the slot shows Home · Resident; on any other place it becomes Follow. Following is interest, not identity — never touches primaryLocation.
Tap the place title (or the 🏠 in the bar) → a non-modal sheet. Home is pinned + can't be removed; followed places listed with unread pills. My Gaon tab still opens to home by default — this is just how you hop. Find a place drops into Explore (F3).
Tapping "Find a place to follow" (F2) opens the same Place Pulse engine as a modal over My Gaon — search focused, filtered to Places (no post/people noise). You get a search field AND trending-places-to-follow. Follow + close → back to the switcher. NOT a jump to the Search tab.
This is the bottom-nav Search tab BEFORE you type. Instead of trending hashtags, its discovery default is place-keyed: which places & civic seats are active. Tabs = Near me / India / Civic. The moment you type, it becomes omni-search (F3b). Search bar = the one global entry.
The moment you type, the same tab becomes omni-search: Posts · People · Circles · Channels · Places · Constituencies. People/user search lives here too. Results grouped by type; each followable or tappable. Place Pulse = "show me what's alive", this = "I know what I want".
Illustrates the later place-page enhancement — NOT a redesign now. Cascade = ON (your ruling): a followed district pulls child village/block posts. Tamed by scope chips + a volume control. These drop INTO the existing tabs (Overview/Feed/Issues/Communities/People) when we do the Phase-2 pass — design stays as built.
This is the bottom-nav Home tab — your ONE personalized feed — NOT the place home (My Gaon). Followed-place posts interleave here (same news-splice mechanic), each tagged with an origin chip. Home gaon posts flow in by identity (always "All"); followed places by follow (volume = All / Highlights / Mute). My Gaon stays single-place.
A NEW page type (Phase 2), not a change to existing place pages. Amnour Vidhan Sabha isn't a geographic node — it's a civic overlay over many villages, so it gets its own page (rep + cross-seat civic feed + broadcasts) and a distinct follow type. Ties into the S13 office-pages work — built when we do that pass.
Different from the global tab. Tapping the search in a place header opens a location search scoped to that place — drill its sub-villages/wards, switch, follow, or "search posts in {place}". Lighter, navigates the place-graph. Global omni-search stays in the Search tab.
The differentiator made visible: per seat — trend pulse, most-engaged parties (neutral, engagement-only), official responsiveness, and rising issues. Public & factual. This is what makes an MLA/MP office or party want to be here — and the "Active constituencies" rows in Place Pulse (F3) deep-link here.
